Among the sanitary measures applied in our clinics are: the use of personal protection means, avoiding crowding, disinfection of offices, operating rooms or common areas after each procedure or consultation, and the requirement of individual protection measures.

We recommend that you attend only with your partner, since there are restrictions on the number of people, as well as the access of children and elders who come as companions. It is important that you know and apply individual protection measures: the use of face mask is mandatory, both in the office and in the hospital, keep a healthy distance, constantly wash your hands or use antibacterial gel and avoid touching your face.

It is worth to mention that most of our gynecological procedures are ambulatory, so the cases which require a hospital stay are few and we perform them in certified hospitals that has the necessary care. In these cases a companion is allowed, which can be your partner, a family member or a friend.

There are still more things know and keep in mind, we will do the COVID-19 PCR test, which is the most reliable for detecting the infection. Small samples of biological material are required and the results are obtained within a period of approximately 48 hours. If it is negative, you should not worry and you can continue with your treatment, taking extreme sanitary measures to avoid becoming infected during the period that this lasts. Depending on how long the process is, we may request additional testing at some point in the treatment. If positive, the intervention or procedure can wait, most likely to be postponed until you have cleared the infection.
