The World Health Organization explains overweight and obesity is determined as an abnormal or excessive accumulation of fat that can be harmful to health.

Obesity has a great impact on the quality of life of people, affecting their daily lives and suffering from chronic diseases, increasing the risk of suffering infertility problems in both men and women, these people have a high percentage of suffering psychological problems, social stories such as anxiety, depression, and may not find the desired results in their assisted reproduction treatment, so they invest so much to be parents.

Now we know that exercising and eating healthy can maintain a better quality of life and make your assisted reproduction procedure more bearable, even a better obstetric prognosis such as your mental well-being, but how can we start a new routine?

When we are not used to being sedentary, it is difficult to start and try to see the results of exercising. Sometimes people can talk about the benefit of physical activities, your doctor recommends you start a diet, they tell you about the advantages and, of course, you know that it is necessary to do it, but you do not want to start yet.

Mood influences the reasons why we eat more food than we don’t need. When we are sad, angry or bored, we fight these emotions with junk food, for example (potatoes, cookies, chocolates, soft drinks, bread, desserts). Another factor that produces changes in our intake pattern is stress due to the bad eating habits that are acquired, when the couple starts an assisted reproduction treatment and does not identify their emotions, they do not work on it, so the stress begins to affect the way of feeding in a negative way.

A person with stress can present in his body:

Increased appetite or Decreased food intake, causing compulsive consumption, often feeling satisfied, but you feel the need to want to continue eating, or most do not provide any useful ingredient for your health.

On the contraire, when appetite decreases many people feel full, nauseated, or feel hungry, but they have no appetite for wanting to try food.

If you want to fight obesity, being overweight you must acquire new eating habits to improve your quality of life, for this it is important to know yourself and recognize what causes you the anxiety of eating food more than normal. In order to carry out a new routine you must have a healthy emotional state, be aware of what you feel and what you think. Now that we have more knowledge, we will avoid feeling negative about being an undervalued person and being afraid of being despised or rejected by society.
